Film Schools

Just ten short years ago there were only a handful of Films Schools nation wide. Today that number has exploded; there are hundreds of film schools that range from departments within larger universities, to degree specific schools, to online programs. You can find anything ranging from a certificate degree to a PhD in a specialized area of film, i.e. cinematography. This rapid increase in programs is due in large part to the technological advancements being made. Equipment is cheaper and far more readily available. Editing and postproduction work can be done with software and equipment dramatically cheaper than years past.

When choosing a film school be sure to weigh all of your options and choose one that fits your interest, personality, and budget.
